RIDING AT NIGHT

You are much more at risk while riding at night. The visibility will tend to get lesser, you might get tired soon and your eyes may tend to close. It’s always better to be prepared and combat some of the dangers you may encounter if you plan to ride long hours during the night.

Here are a few tips:

  • For long distances, have another rider along with you so you can take turns
  • Don’t drive too fast especially on the highways, there will be trucks and buses driving fast
  • Always drive with your lights on even during early morning hours
  • Remember to wear your helmet
  • If you are feeling fatigue, take a short break and then continue
  • If someone is driving behind you with full beam lights on, try and avoid the glare
  • Never ride under the influence of alcohol
