Maruti Suzuki Recalls 9925 Units of 3 Models

9925 units of Wagon R, Celerio and Ignis from Maruti Suzuki to be inspected for faulty brake assembly pin

One of the most popular and trusted car brands of the country, Maruti Suzuki has yet again proved that customer safety and convenience is a priority. With several models of cars suitable for all categories of the car enthusiasts in India, Maruti has stayed put in the market.

According to the regulatory filing by the company, the brand is recalling 9925 units of its three models to rectify possible defect in rear brake assembly pin. The three models are Wagon R, Celerio and Ignis. The possibly affected vehicles are manufactured between August 3rd and September 1st of 2022.

Considering the safety of customers and out of precaution, the company has decided to recall suspicious vehicles to inspect and replace the faulty parts, free of cost.

Parts for replacement are being arranged in all the showrooms and service centers. Authorized workshops will contact the customers to attend to their vehicles. Maruti said that necessary replacement and repair will be done post inspection.
