Hazards of Drinking & Driving

Despite the stringent rules and regulations on drunken driving, there is a growing increase in number of people driving under the influence of alcohol and an even greater number of accidents as a result of it.

Driving under the influence of alcohol is a serious crime. Even a small amount of alcohol can lead to harmful situations and can be dangerous because alcohol has the power to impact the driving ability.

How alcohol can affect your driving:

  • Will delay your response to a situation which can increase the likelihood of an accident
  • Affect the co-ordination ability of your eye, hand and foot
  • Reduce your concentration power and you might not be able to stay on the lane or maintain the correct speed
  • Reduce your visibility and you may not be able to see vehicles and people on the road clearly
